Candlewood Lake Depth Chart

Until recently, all maps that depicted the bottom of Candlewood Lake have used the topography of the land surface before it was submerged. But those old land surface maps date back several decades and made use of less exacting mapping equipment than is available today. Now, the Connecticut DEEP is proud to present the 2006 Candlewood Lake depth map with all new bathymetric measurements. The field work and compilation ran from 1999 to 2005, and the final product is this color chart which measures 23" x 36". Each is fully laminated so the weather and rough use won't damage it. Our Candlewood chart is now the best information on Candlewood depth available anywhere. Ten foot depth contour intervals.
